My boyfriend bought me a craft workshop voucher and I decided to do the loom knitting class. Knitting is one thing I’ve never been very good at and one thing I always wish i was! The perfect thing about this type of knitting is that, as well as it being super easy to learn, its always perfectly straight and neat and it’s difficult to pick up or drop stitches, so perfect for a beginner like me!
I had a one on one class but you can have group classes too. You can see what other classes are available and book one yourself at www.teaandcrafting.co.uk. I couldn’t recommend it enough; the lady teaching me was so lovely and helpful and I had so much fun.
Anyway, I went out and bought some wool today and here’s what I’ve done so far. It probably took me about an hour to do what you can see in the photo. My plan is to make a pair of socks, so I’ll post some more photos of my progress if it all goes well!
